LA NOTTE (SEALED)

Factory Sealed cd. Released in 2011 by Quartet. This is an expanded edition of Giorgio Gaslini's score for MIchelangelo Antonioni's 1961 movie. Giorgio Gaslini composed a straight jazz score for the movie that was released as an LP by Cinevox during the 60s, and on cd for the first time in 1992 in Japan. The Japanese edition included the full LP program plus a suite of themes of around 18 minutes. Quartet released the score for the first time on cd outside Japan punctuating the extra music in cues, adding also an informative booklet. Sold out.
