FAREWELL TO ARMS/THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA

Near mint cd. Released by Legend in Italy in 1994 and contains two excellent scores by Mario Nascimbene, the first from A FAREWELL TO ARMS (1957) and the second for THE BAREFOOT CONTESSA (1954). The music for Joseph L.Mankiewicz's BAREFOOT CONTESSA was Nascimbene's first assignment outside Italy and gave him the opportunity to work for big international productions earlier than any other European film composer. Very fine music from a master in an out of print cd.
