Mint cd. Released by Intrada in 2015 and contains music composed by Miklos Rozsa, Franz Waxman, Huge Friedhofer and others for the classic Paramount Film Noir genre. The highlight of the edition is undoubtedly the 40 minutes from DOUBLE INDEMNITY (1945), one of Miklos Rozsa’s most important scores. There is also 15 minutes from ACE IN THE HOLE (1951), composed by Hugo Friedhofer, the score from SORRY WRONG NUMBER (1948) by Franz Waxman, Gail Kubik’s music from the great DESPERATE HOURS (1955), Victor Young’s I WALK ALONE (1947), Leith Stevens’ THE SCARLET HOUR (1956) and last but not least Heinz Roemheld’s music from UNION STATION (1950). One of the most important projects by the great Intrada that unfortunately sold out very quickly and now is very hard to find.
