Factory Sealed cd. Released in 2002 by Subterfuge label in Spain. This is the first ever release of Waldo De Los Rios score for the 1976 famous Spanish horror movie. The great Argentinean composer offered some superb scores for the Spanish cinema during the 60s and 70s, among them the one for Narciso Ibanez Serrador’s unique horror movie. His music is centered around a nursery rhyme theme composed for the children of the sun-soaked Mediterranean island that apparently become evil and destroy every adult human being they find around them. Apart from this beautiful but creepy theme, De Los Rios music has an ominous dissonant style that develops to an outstanding symphonic climax of dread and agony. This cd is out of print since a long time and difficult to find factory sealed.
