Factory Sealed. Released by Music Box in 2019 contains music composed by Philippe Sarde for three movies of the 70s French cinema. DEUX HOMMES DANS LA VILLE (1973) was directed by Jose Giovanni and contains an elegiac dramatic score by Sarde, certainly one of the best of his career. The other two movies LA VEUVE COUDERC (1971) and LE TOUBIB (1979) were both directed by Pierre Granier-Deferre. All three scores are dramatic and are focused on strong melodic ideas and reveal the unique talent of the great Sarde. Music Box cd presents the three scores for the first time in their entirety on cd. Especially DEUX HOMMES, was one of the most sought after soundtracks among the soundtrack fans. This is the second part that was released by Music Box that also sold out.
